Mini-Troubadoura
Ursula is a poet and nature lover who has facilitated journal writing in shelters and jails. They currently live in the Pacific Northwest foraging for things to write about and keeping their soul in the soil. Ursula has completed a year-long program on community herbalism and ethnobotany at the Evergreen State College where she gained skills in the soil as a student gardener and academically, performing heritage-related cultural ecology research on West Africa. Ursula has a degree in Human Services and an Associate in the Arts and Sciences, specializing in chemical dependency counseling. They hold certification as an in-home caregiver with 20+ years providing hospice and memory care. They are deeply dedicated to the power of plants and the gift of healing.
